A recent report completed by Camoin Associates identified a gap of 48,000 workers in the North Country labor force over the next 10 years! However, unique to the North Country is Fort Drum, a U.S. military installation home to the Army’s 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry).
Camoin calculates that over the next 10 years, approximately 46,000 transitioning Soldiers and spouses from Fort Drum could enter the region’s workforce. Next Move NY is here to help these transitioning Soldiers and spouses get the perfect job here in the North Country.
